COLLISION AT ONEHUNGA.

A LUCKY ESCAPE

A trap and cyclist collided in Queen Street, Onehunga, yesterday morning, and the rider of the latter conveyance had v very narrow escape from serious injury. The victim of the accident was a young mail named Louis Taylor, who was proceeding down the street, and evidently failed to observe the approach of the other vehicle. The shaft of the trap struck him in the throat, and inflicted a nasty wound two inches in length, but fortunately missed the arteries. The sufferer was immediately attended to by Mr Macklow, chemist, and soon after by Dr. Thomas. After the wound had been stitched, he was removed to his home.
