The Minister of Justice announced that, the result of the voting on the licensing issue on the transport Remuera was: Continuance 3S9'; Prohibition 67; majority for Continuance 322. An amended return for Wellington Suburbs: Continuance 3252; ~ Prohibition 3445; majority for Prohibition 163 The toals of civilian and military votes are now:
Continuance 259,881 Prohibition 252,556 Majority for Continuance 7,325
