BOROUGH ELECTIONS.

To the Editor

With reference to Mr De Luen's letlev, I regret what occurred very much. The facts are, the notice convening the meeting was written in Huntervillc, and sent up last Thursday, the names being lightly pencilled. My Son, who had the notice, could not find Mr De Luen, who was out of town, but handed it to another friend fo get it confirmed on Saturday. I am sorry that the notice got into print before Mr I>e Luen had a chance to approve it.—l am, etc.,

A. J. JOBLIN.

(I am quite satisfied with this explanation, and feel sure that it was an oversight.—J. Le Luen.)
