DISPOSITION OF BRITISH TROOPS.

Mr Churchill said M. Piehon's statement that there were .140,000 British troops in the East, included Balkans, Turkey, Asia Minor, and the Caucasus. There were ijonly 20,000 in [Russia. These figures did not include the Caucasus, where the troops were not engaged in military operations, and were not in contact with the enemy. o ■
