POLAND'S PLIGHT.
LONDON April 5.
Colonel Mr.oA.lpin has returned from Poland. He confirms £he report that if social order is to be maintained it will be not only food, but raw material, that is required to get the people work.
There is difficulty, owing to the couu-i try's finances, to procure these. It looks as if Britain will have to render some financial aid.
