FROM ENGLAND TO PARIS. IN SEVENTY-FOUR MINUTES. TO AMERICA IN NINETEEN HOURS. Received 9.5 a.m. LONDON, March 19. Brigadier-General Secly made a record flight from Eolkstone to Paris in 74 minutes. He crossed the Channel in ten minutes. The Hawkers-Sopwith biplane 'for trans-Atlantic flight is fitted with. 375 horse-power engines, travelling economically 100 miles an hour. A wireless operator accompanies the pilot, and the fuselage is constructed in the shape of a lifeboat. It is supplied with a scientific trick-box containing two days' food in tabloid form. It is estimated the journey to America will occupy 19 hours.
AN ATLANTIC FLIGHT

Hawker is en route to Newfoundland intending to complete an Atlantic flight at the earliest moment with a Hopwith biplane.
A MARVELLOUS AEROPLANE
LONDON, March IS
The Daily Express says that General Seely announces that the novel aeroplane recently mentioned has developed unprecendented qualities. It is taillss and square shaped. It has two sets,: of planes, for and aft, with two or three.cars swung between. A speed of 200 miles is easily attainable. The craft is able to descend almost vertically, minimising many risks.
