Taihape Show.
RECORD ATTENDANCE EXPECTED.
From the first hour of the early morning the busy scene on the A. and P. Show Ground had its beginning. Stock began to arrive at a very early hour, and vehicles loaded wits show animals continued to arrive till past breakfast time. The influx of visitors constitute a record, and the Taihape house famine was again ex** tremely accentuated. Many people who arrived yesterday failed to got (accommodation, and were to return home by the late trains, disgusted, probably with the intention not to return. In future years it will be advisable to make provision for such an influx of people the Taihape Show is destined to draw into town. The streets this morning present an animated picture, every movement denoting that something of importance is eventuating. The Rbsewo <is "Hf mg to its fullest capacity, indicating that the time "is not far distant whes more space will be necessary to accommodate the hugely augmented show of the near future. There is usual array of side shows, as well as a fine show of motor ca.vrr.
Sheep and cattle pens never looked better filled with finer animals than they do to-day. With perfect weather, )the )fine work of committee and stewards i.i having arrangements well completed, the most jSuccssful show yet held should result. A full report will be published to-morrow, so that our readers may have the full results in one issue of the paper.
