The entries for the Taihape iThonto be held on the 26th inst. will close on Saturday next the 15th inst., at S p.m. A schedule of the classes and prizes provided may be obtained on application .to the Secretary, A. M. Ryan, B'ox 81, Taihape. The sum of £5 has been donated for a class for a hack owned and ridden at the Showby a returned soldier. The cash prizes are liberable and there arc numerous valuable trophies for competition. A special of £5 is offered for the host yearling Run Hereford bulk The Main Trunk Ram Fair will be held on the 27th inst.
