MANG AWEK A SALE. Messrs. Dalgoty and Co. Ltd., Palmerston North, report Saving a good entry of sheep and a fair yarding of cattle at their Mangaweka Sale on Thursday, 30th Jianuary, 1919. There was very fair competition for all lots submitted, and practically a total clearance was effected. Sheep—Small shorn lambs 6/, 7/,7/2, to 7/11; medium shorn lambs 10/9 to 11/6; aged empty ewes 10/2. to 13/; 4 and 5 year .ewes 20/; small 2-tooth wethers 21s Id; aged rams 15s, Cattle—Bad coloured yearling steers £4 4s; 15 nios. steers £6 Is; 20 mos. steers £7 12s; 3-year dairy heifers £ll ss; fat cows £l2; 3-year off bullocks £l2 16s. Store pigs £2 14s.
