DEATH OF A WAR VETERAN. NEW PLYMOUTH,, this sa.y Obituary: William Henry Free, aged 93. He enlisted in the 58thj BegTnient in 1842, and came to Hobart the following year as guard over the convicts. He served in Hone Heke's war and attiained to the rank of lieutenant of volunteers in the Taranaki War.
