SINN FEIN “PARLIAMENT.”
OPENED WITH PRAYER. LONDON, January 24 • The Sinn Fein Parliament opened with much solemnity at Dublin. Twen-ty-throe comriioners participated, and parliamentary usages were closely followed. The proceedings were opened with prayer, and a pledge was administered binding members to make every effort to secure independence. The Irish language was used throughout, except in the taking of the pledge, which was translated into English.
