BOWLING NOTES.
Clement Wragge was in a good humour yesterday, and sent the bowlers a perfect day for their particular pastime. With ideal weather conditions, a good muster of players and the green at its best, it only required the gracious presence of ladies at the teatable to make the function complete; but they, unfortunately, were conspicuous by their absence. A start was made in the Pairs Handicap, two matches being played off. With the very uncertain weather co(aditions prevailing, competitors should endeavour to get through their games as soon as possible, and beat the time limit as much as they can.
