THE KINGS. A little child shall lead them is "the theme of "The Gates of Gladness" which is to be shown at the King's to-night. It is a delightful and sweet film story, and it certainly proves the truth and wisdom of those wonderful words. Charming- little Madge Evans plays the part of the little daughter, whose childish innocence and artlessness help to mould the fortunes of many people and this "kiddie star" is as fascinating in this screen as in any of the others which have made her world-famous. The story is very delightfully told, with a charm all its own, full of pathos, with a deep humaii interest. Playing, up to Madge Evans, George MacQuarric does some fine work as the wealthy brother, and altogether the picture is one that should not be missed. The supporting pictures consist of 13th episode of "The jS T eglect : cd Wife," Gazette, etc. The programme is for one night only.
