NEW ZEALAND NEWS

NO TERRITORIAL CAMPS THIS YEAR. PLANS FOB THE FAILLES WELLINGTON this day. No territorial camps will be held next year. The reasons given are a shortage of tents and staff and demand for labour, which would necessitate extensive exemptions in any case. Training classes for territorials officers, and non-coms, will, however, be held at Trentham during the next few months, the courses being based on war experience. It is expected this camp will be kept open most of each year for schools of instruction and musketry classes, rifle clubs, territorial camps, and so forth. NEW ZEALANDERS HONOURED. WELLINGTON, this day. Base Records has received advice that 21323 Sergeant Mechanic Raymond George Goldfinch, formerly of Fcilding, new attached to the Royal Air Force, has been awarded the Force Medal.
