CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR HOLIDAY HOURS. 0 Christmas Even, 24th December. — Telegraph hours, 9 a,m. to 5 pan. Postal hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. as usual, hut a delivery will be made of all letters over the Postal Counter 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Posting Boxes will he cleared at 5 p.m. Posting Box at Taihape Office cleared at 8 p.m. All Mails going fprward on Christmas Day will close at 8 p.m, on 24th (Tuesday.) Telephone Exchange, continuous. 1 Christmas Day, 25th December. — , Postal and MWesnorder Branch will be closed (close holiday). Telegraph Hours as under: 10 to 10.30 a.m. and sto 5.30 p.m. Telephone Exchange, open continuous (night and day). (No mails made up on this day.) Notice. —Post Correspondence and send Telegrams as many days before Chrisamas Day as possible, to ensure delivery before Christmas Day. Boxing Day, 26th December, 1918 (Thursday). Money-order and Savings Bank will be closed (close holiday). One complete Letter Carriers’ Delivery, starting at 7.30 a.m. Postal, all Branches except Moneyorder and Savings Bank iopen f 9 to 10’ a.m. Telegraph Office open 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 7to 8 p.m. Telephone Exchange open continuous (night and day).
