We occupied Bouillon and Sedan; reached Carignan and entered Gravelottie, forts south /of Metz, also Morhange, Dieuze, Donon, 'Schirmeck, Colmar, Richicourt, Chateau Salins, Munster, Cernay, Altkirch. General Sirchauer solemnly entered Mulhouse, and was ovationed by the population. CANADIAN DELEGATES ARRIVE. Received 11.25 a.m. LONDON, Nov 18. Sir R. Borden has arrived, accompanied by several Ministers and high officials. THE MARCH ON THE RHINE. TROOPS FIT FOR A TOURNAMENT Received 11.25 a.m. LONDON, Nov 18. & Mr. Philip Gibbs says the march on the Rhine began on a keen frosty morning, with a cavalry screen first. The horses were well-groomed, and the Lancers with flying pennons, while the Field Artillery and infantry, the guns carrying flags, looked fit to participate in a tournament. The gunners spent a whole week polishing for the march. THE LIBERATION OF BELGIUM. WILD SCENES IN BRUSSELS. LONDON November 17.' An American correspondent in-Brus-sels describes wild scenes when Prince Rupprecht was forced'to shelter, first in the Dutch Legation and then in the Spanish Legation from the .lawless 1 soldiery. The Kaiser’s son Eitel defended his house in Louvain with hundred loyalists. Both are believed to have escaped to Holland. The Soviet sittings at the Senate are most mixed, unwashed private soldiers fraternising with monoclcd generals, including Nurse Oavell’s murderer.

Some established stalls in the streets, and shouted, “Wares sold ,at ridiculous prices.” THE GALLIPOLI VETERANS THE MEDAL QUESTION. MEBOURNE, Nov. IS. In view of the War Office V decision to award a star and ribbon to all officers and men serving before December 31st, 1915, the Defence authorities arc of opinion that there will be no Gallipoli Star decoration las originally proposed. It would be invidious to grant the distinction to Australasians if it was not also awarded to the British 29th Division, which participated in the Gallipoli fighting.
