MILITARISM GONE FOR EVER.
DEMOCRACY COMING TO ITS OWN Received 9 a.m. AMSTERDAM, Nov 5. In an interview in the Vossiche *Zoitung with the German Chancellor, there appears to be an authoritative admission that German militarism has been finally defeated. The Chancellor said: “God be praised; the old regime has gone for good owing N to the war and a practical .admission of the military policy had suffered, shipwreck, and that the democratic/elements had finally got the-upper hand in Germany.
