OPENING OF PARLIAMENT

WELLINGTON, this day. The weather is extremely unfavour; able for the opening of Parliament, which takes place at 2.30 to-day. A cold southerly is blowing, which ia likely to militate against anything of a spectacular nature. After the delivery of the Governor-General’s speech both Houses will adjourn till to-mor-row, when formal business will be taken.
