LONDON, October 21.
A French. Eastern communique reports: Our troops on the 19th reached the Danube in the region of Vidin, and proceeded to stop traffic. An enemy monitor was forced ashore under our gunfire. Allied forces captured Zaitchar.
The Serbians on the Morava arc in contact, north of Alexsinatz, and Krushovatz (on the ISTish-Belgradc railway) with the Germans, who are strongly entrenched.
