THE SCARLET TROUBADOURS.

The Scarlet Troubadours -will be remembered as one of tbe most accomplished body of entertainers who have ever appeared in the Dominion. They ■were the pioneers in this country of costume-comedy work. Since the first visit of the original company of Troubadours, many changes in the personnel have been made, so that to-day the company is presented as a re-organised and up-to-date combination. The Evening Post Wellington says: The ■Scarlet Troubadours succeed beca'use they do their business with remarkable cleverness. The Company comprises some good vocalists. Miss Madeline Knight contralto has an excellent voice and sings with exquisite feeling, Miss Lalla Ward possesse a rich soprano voice and Miss Hilda McMustry is very popular as a comedienne and is also a very pleasing dancer. Eeg_ Hawthorne ps a very skilful mirth maker. Mr Eenso Millar is an excellent Basso. Something out of the ordinary William Harrison is a tenor of note, while Andrew Pace is a very popular member of the combinations and George Livingston is very diverting as a character comedian.
