AERIAL ACTIVITY. CONSTANTINOPLE BOMBED. LONDON, Sept 23. The Admiralty reports: Between the 17th and 21st, Air Force contingents attached to the Navy made four raids on Bruges docks, dropping eight tons of bombs. They also successfully bombed five aerodromes. In air fighting we destroyed six etiemy machines and drove down five uncontrollable. Three of ours are xnissng. A hostile balloon was shot down, and fell in flames' 1 on a balloon camp, setting fire to three hang&rs. All wer| burnt out. Go-operating with Greek naval aircraft, we bombed Constantinople on the nights of the 20th and 21st. Bombs hurst at Maidra Pasha station, also on buildings to the northward of the Admiralty and in Stamboul, where many thousands of propaganda leaflets were dropped. One Greek and one British machine have not returned. Sir Douglas' Haig’s aviation report states; The weather is overcast and showery. ,We dropped 11 tons of bombs and destroyed eight hostile machines. Four of ours are missing. Our night-fliers dropepd four tons of bombs on an enemy aerodrome near Valenciennes. All our machines returned. RAIDS ON GERMANY. PARIS, Sept' 23. Repeated air raids on South German towns have shattereH the nerves of the population. There axe very wild rumours about the immense number of victims and the enormous damage done.
