FOOTBALL.
The Mataroa junior footballers have lodged a protest against the result of the match played with Taihape on Saturday last on the grounds that the Taihape team included three Wanganui College players, which they contend is contrary to the local arrangements governing the competition. The matter will be considered by the executive at its first meetfhg. The folowing are the drawings of the teams playing to-morrow:—Mata'-roa Juniors v Bell View, Railway Seniors v Pirate Junors, Pirate Seniors v Maori Seniors. As it is intended to. make two losses necessary to put a team out players are requested to be ready to start at 2.30 so as to finish before five
