AMUSEMENTS

KING'S THEATRE. There was a very large attendance at the King's last night to witness the screening of the star picture "Destiny" and the production is all that is claimed for it. The management will shew It again to-night, when it will be supported by a World Film production, entitled "A Girl's Folly," starring that fine actor Robert Warwick, supported by June Elvidge. The screening of this picture will cornea ccne at 8 o'clock and the second-half will be devoted to "Destiny." when no one under IS years will be admitted

EVERYBODY'S. Evcrybodys' has another interesting headlincr to present to its patrons tonight. "Royal Romance" a five reel Fox photoplay, is laid in the peaceful time when emperors and royal princesses were not disturbed by thoughts of the coming social upheaval and were busy falling in and out of love, like ordinary mortals. The Princess Sylvia objects to having her hand and heart bestowed upon the Emperor Maximilian for purely diplomatic reasons. She therefore takes advantage of the fact that he has never seen her and, passing herself off as an untitled English girl, meets the Emperor near his hunting lodge, pretends not to know his real station in life and orders him about as she would a lackey. They both fall in love with each other in due course of time and, after the proper amount of plotting and counter-plotting by all concerned, the truth comes out and the emperor marries the princess. Virginia Pearson as the royal maiden and Irving Cummings as kingly gentleman are both exceedingly human in spite of their exalted rank, which they assume with considerable success. The supports including a two reel comedy are all good.
