HOLLAND .'AND GERMANY. AN INQUIRY WANTED. Received 8.45 a.m. AMSTERDAM, August 24. Hague reports state that the Dutch Shipping Council’s finding in the inquiry on the sinking of the Kouingen Regentes was that it was caused’ by a torpedo. The Dutch Government asks Germany to reopen a thorough inquiry, seeing that Germany does not recognise the immunity of hospital ships. Britain has assured Holland that no British torpedo was fired in the vicinity. PERUVIAN GARRISON MUTINIED. WANTING WAR WITH GERMANY. Received 8.45 a.m. LIMA, August 24. The Peruvian garrison at Ancona mutinied and demanded an immediate declaration of war with Germany; transfer of interned German ships to the United States and the despatch of Peruvian troops to France.
