Besides cholera, famine and typhus now raging in , Petrograd, in the Northern Russian provinces the population of whole villages are dying out for want of bread. Practically all Moscow's railway communications arc cut oft’; this is partly due to the passive resistance of railwaymen. Counterrevolutionaries have blown up numerous bridges^
