KING'S THEATER What may happen after the war is the foundation of the Greater Vitagraph's super-feature "The Billious Plot," which is to be shown at the King's to-night. The drama is a real achievement, and is full of new and wonderful things. Anita Stewart is the heroine, and Eudolph Cameron is, as in actual life, her lover. .The «ast is an extraordinary one, however, and special mention should be made t of Eoger Lytton, who plays the part of Varrie, tho international spy called '' The Rose,'' and also of Julia Swayne Gordon who portrays his woman confederate. The first sensational happening is the explosion in the munition works owned by the heroine's father. This is wonderful photography. The working of a huge and intricate system of underground spies is revealed in the most interesitng fashion, and very amazing are the devices and fantastic electrical machines that are used for inter-communication. Noticeably among ; these is the writing telegraph machine with its uncanny arms that are almost human. The foiling of the whole diabolical conspiracy comes about in the most surprising way, and the little heroine encounters some strenuous adventure in her role as self-appointed -service agent. Tfr© principal attraction at the' Town Hall to-night is a William Fox production entitled "Tangled Liyes," Genevieve Hamper, talented stage star, appears in the leading role and is given an excellent opportunity to show her versatile art. The suspense of the story is sustained through a plot in which life on an island off the Flor r ida coast and the complex existence of the Great White Way are eunniigly The love interest nrodominates and technically the picture exhibits the perfection of detail wiic.i characterizes all of the William Fox productions. It is supported by & tworeel Nustany drama "Touch of trc Key" and a screaming comedy "Stung by Gum."
