"GLORY TO THE KAISER!" FOR THE MURDER OF WOMEN AND CHILDREN. Received 8.45 a.m. ' LONDON-, July 29, The Daily Chronicle's Paris correspondent states that the German authorities organised an imposing pfeafeure party on the famous Belgian spot where 700 innocent Belgian women and children were slaughtered on August 22, 1914. The party included the official lecturer, who spoke on the graveyard, and ended by shouting "Glory to the Kaiser!" The purpose of the gathering apparently was to persuade the Belgians of the kindliness of the German people, and the fact that it was necessary to invade Belgium in order to prevent the devastation of the Fatherland.
