PALESTINE.
STORY OF THE FIGHTING. Received 10.10 a.m. LONDON, July 15. A Palestine report states the enemy, attacks developed on the thirteenth and fourteenth against positions covering the passages of the Jordan and on Abu Tellul ridges, northward of Jericho. The enemy penetrated positions about Abu Tellul, but the Australians and New Zealanders counterattacked and entirely restored the position, prisonering \ four hunarea. Indian cavalry dispersed the enemy eastward of the Jordan. Prisoners total 510, whereof 350 are Germans.
