ALBANIAN VICTORY. PROGRESS OF 24 MILES. ROME, July 12. The Austrians’ defeat in Albania was serious. The Italians advanced in three days from 18 to 24 miles. The whole southern bank of the Semeni has been occupied, and Berat enveloped. After a three days’ battle the Italians captured Fieri. They found an aerodrome with several aeroplanes intact. Later an enemy aeroplane, unware of what had happened, landed at the drome. The aeroplane contained an Austrian aviator and four ladies. CAPTURE OF BERAT.
