WOMEN’S PLACE IN THE WORLD ACKNOWLEDGED BY PRESIDENT WILSON. Received 10.50 a.m_ NEW YORK, June 14. President Wilson in a letter to tho leader of the Woman Suffrage movement says he endorsed the National Women’s Suffrage Amendment, and hopes it will pass tho Senate this session, adding: “I agree without reservation, fully and sincerely, that in the democratic reconstruction of the world which we are determined to bring about any scheme would be incomplete and inadequate until women are admitted to the suffrage.” President Wilson pays tributes to women’s war work by saying: “The war could not be fought without them or the sacrifices 'endured. It is high time our debt of gratitude to them should be acknowledged and paid.”
