The Daily Express Dublin correspondent says that recruiting in Ireland will be conducted on lines of a general election, with extensive distribution of literature, the utilisation of hoardings including an Irish “Kiltie” in national colours. Important progress was made in enlisting the aid of Nationalists. Dr A. W. Lynch, who was colonel in command of one of the Irish battalions •on tho Boor side during the South African war, agreed to act as recruiting officer. Prominent landlords intend to raise battalions in t couties. A feature of the campaign will be marches of American regiments writh their priests.
