CONSCRIPTION IN AUSTRALIA. A DISPASSIONATE REVIEW. Received 8.45 a.m. • LONDON, June 6. "The Round Table," a quarterly publication devoted to a review of events in the British Empire, in an article on "Conscription in Australia," says the failure was a political one in. the heated air of party politics. The finest passions had been drawn into a barren sectarian struggle and wasted. The blame lies equally with the two political parties.
