GERMANY’S TROUBLES.
FRICTION BETWEEN GERMANY. AND AUSTRIA HATRED OF AUSTRIA INCREASING. Received 1-0.25 a.m > OTTAWA, May 14. The New York Globe’s Amsterdam correspondent interviewed a Dutch traveller from Germany, who stated hatred of Austria is grownig in Germany. The feeling is that if the Central Powers lose the war' it will be because of the incapability and insufficient support from Austria. The public action of Emperor Charles’s peace let 1 ter in reference to Alsace and Lorraine brought the resentment to the hightest pitch. Austria’s refusal to send troops to the West front increased Germany’s contempt.
