TAIHAPE. CATTLE FAIR Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their Autumn Cattle Fair at Taihapc on Wednesday, 'May Ist, when an exceptionally heavy yarding of cattle came forward. There was a good attendance of buyers, and most of the lines submitted met with ready sale, prices being in favour of buyers. We quote: Weaner Hereford steers £6 17s 6d to £8; weaner Hereford heifers to £6 7s 6d; mixed weaners £5 10s to £5 17s 6d; medium quality weaners £3 17s 6d to U 13s 6d; 18/20 months steers £7 15s to £9 15s; 2 yr heifers £9; 2* yr. steers £ll to £ll 15s; yearling steers £5 18s to £6 16s; 3 yr. steer £l2; 3* yr, bullocks £l4 JOs; breeding cows to Hereford bulls £l2 Is; other sorts of cows £5 10s to £8 ss.
