PRESBYTERIAN SUNDAY SCHOOL CONCERT.

The annual entertainment given by | the children attending the Taihape Sunday School was held last night, there being a very large and appreciative attendance. The children submitted a programme of i some twenty-six items, all of which were creditably given, many being above the average, as frequent applause testified. There were so many of the performers that acquitted themselves so well that too much space would be required to mention the items and names separately. From tne general , enthusiasm displayed the Sunday School is a very healthy organisation, and it reflects the' interest and excellent work performed thrpugh. out the year by Mr. A. Spence, the Superintendent, and by Mrs. Spence, his very devoted assistant. Both Mr. and Mrs: Spence well merited all the encouragement the large audience or parents and friends of the children gave them, for they are without doubt most worthy workers in the field from whence the best clas"s of citizenship springs.
