MILITARY SERVICE.
CLASS B BALLOT ISSUED ON THURSDAY. BALANCE TO BE CALLED UP EN BLOC. IN THREE WEEKS' TIME. WELLINGTON, this day. Reservists of Class B of the Second Division drawn in the ballot last week will receive their notices within the next day or two. The Gazette, containing a complete list of the men drawn is to be issued on Thursday. Dates for medical examinations will be arranged during the next fewdays. Afteft the issue of the Gazette containing the names of Class B reservists, drawn in last week's ballot, the remaining B men will have an opportunity to enlist voluntarily. It is understood that the' balance Qf Class B will be called up en bloc about three weeks' hence. Then will come the turn <sf Class C men (two, children). The Minister of Defence stated that the present increased rate of reinforcemnts will be maintained for fivqp months. Class C will possibly be called up more slowly than Class B has been, but no official information is. yet available on the point.
