KING'S THEATRE. In "Glory," a six-reel drama, with many bright comedy incidents introduced, a picture is presented that gets away from the beaten track, and which has been prounounced one* of the most 'success :|ful films "produced this year. Although the clever little actress Juanita Hansen is starred as "Glory" there are really three stfar performances, for the famous Vaudeville Comedians, Kolb and Dill appear
in support of Misa Hansen. Kolb and Dill —better known throughout America as Louie and Miko—the names they retain in this picture play, were the original comedians in Irish and Dutch patter turns -which have been so widely imitated. Their quaint methods of comedy have lost nothing in the transition to the screen, and as the loving foster-fathers J of little l Glory they are delightful. Pathos and humour are cleverly intermingled and all audiences and all classes' of an audience will be glad to make tbe acquaintance of these famous artists. Miss Juanita Hansen brings a charm and loveliness to aid her natural ability, and she too will be warmly welcomed. The Weekly Gazette, an episode of "The Iron Claw," a good comedy, etc., make up a first-class programme.
EVERYBODY'S.
The swift, sharp action and fire of a military camp run through the new, William Pox picture in which Theda Bara appears, "Under Two Flags " It is a dramatization of Quida's famous novel, conceived in all the splendor and glory with which the author wrote the book which has captivated all readers. The story is closely followed and the producer has succeeded very happily in introducing a fine atmosphere into the Algeria scenes ar" l those representing the ride across the desert, which; but for the fact that one knows they were made in California, might have been taken in Algeria itself. The production is noteworthy, however, for other things besides' its excellent backgrounds jand the scene that will attract moist attention'' by -reason of -its-"-' sensational character, :is the chase of.;/- Cigarette by the rArabs and its climax, which provides one of the most thrilling in-cidents-ever projected upon the screen Indeed, we are not sure that it is riot,, from some- points' of view, too realistic, for we see horses and rides dash over ., a cliff and Crop into .the, _. water - below, with every indication that some at last, to those who took part did not escape scatheless. "Under Two Flags" is ; one "of the best>f''the V Fox Film productions yet seen'on'this side and the attendance' will doubtless pan our in accordance with this~ fact.
