RETURNED' SOLDIERS' ASSOCIATION.
The following letter is being to all returned soldiers in New Zealand, as far as possible:— Dear Sir—At a recent meeting of the Executive of the New' Zealand! Returned Soldiers’ Association, the= subject of land settlement for discharged soldiers was" considered in detail. It was finally decided to collect as much information as possible dealing with the experiences of settlers, and I have been instructed to Communicate w r ith you asking you to fonvard for the information of the Association any criticisms of the system
at present in operation, or suggestions for its improvement wbcb may occur to you. In particular would you refer to the following matters in so far as they may be applicable to you 1
Are the means of transport of goods and access to your property satisfactory? i 2. Has the assistance by the Govnt In the matter of stock and equipment been* adequate, and are there any directions in which you suggest that improvements could be made? , -v 3. Are you satisfied with your ppoverty as a good business investment? In answering these questions would you kindly state your reasons and reply to the General Secretary, Box: 1010, Wellington, by March 27th, 1918^. Yours faithfully,
