Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Palmerston North, report having a good yarding of sheep and a small entry of cattle at their Taihape sale on Wednesday, the 13th inst. Except for better lines competition was not keen, and prices were in favour of buyers. Quotations:—Cull lambs 2/6, aged ewes 8/6, mixed aged ewes 16/9, 19/, and 19/1, 4 and syr ewes 20/9 to 23/6, 2th ewes 28/6, 2 4 and 6th ewes 26/2, small 2th wethers 23/1, aged rams 27/, 2 shear Romney rams 5 gns. Cattle: Empty cows £B, fat cows £l2, dairy cows to £ll 15s, choice dairy heifers in calf £l2 ss.
