EVERYBODY’S.
A William Fox picture of classic acting and photographic skin, entitled
“A Wife's Sacrifice,” is the principal attraction at Everybody’s to-night. Count do Briquet, whose fury is depiced by no less an artist than the great Mannell, finds his Wife in the arms of a stranger—a strange lover he unjustly thinks. The countess, innocent but in a position where honour will not allow her lips to speak the truth, takes the blame unflinchingly. The power of the plot is struck home as only William Fox master direction can bring it. The furious Count is about to slay the supposed lover of his wife. His pistol is raise«2 —when a voice is heard to say, “It's four. Let’s take tea.” And the Count and the Countess and the supposed lover arid all the rest sip tea placidly at. the conventional English hour. Supports include-a screaming two reel comedy, topical budget and other films.
