A French communique states:'—An atempted coup-de-mSin in Juvincourt region was stopped by our fire. The Germans on the right bank of the Meuse, . after a furious bombardment, attacked our front at Cauriers Wood, but were repulsed, leaving many dead after a lively fight; There is artillery activity in Alsace.
