AMSTERDAM, Feb 4.
The Dutch revolutionary strike has strong support in Amsterdam, Hague, and Rotterdam, among the local trade unionis,' but the Dutch General Federation holds aloof. The issue of the strike at present is problematical. Many expect it will be a fiasco but the authorities have taken precautions, fearing the contagion will possibly spread. It is also rumoured that the Amsterdam garrison has brought in other troops.
