KING’S THEATRE

A five-reel Mutual masterpiece, written by that clever author, C. Gardner Sullivan, and produced by : Thos. H luce, featuring the popular star actress, Bessie Bariscale. A wellhandled and cleverly bright story, showing the attractive Bessie Barrlscale to advantage in a school-girl part. She displays high intelligence in her part. She is consistent throughout, and quickly wins the sympathy or the audience as she faces the difficulties of her social and school life, anc later on, the troubles when the course of true love was not running smoothly. An excellent company surrounds Miss Barriscale, and the picture Is the usual finished product of that master craftsman, Thos. H. Ince. The 14th episode of “The Mysteries of Myra,” Gazette, and comedy will be in support of the above. To-mororw, night a comedy will be shown and a splendid drama entitled “The Angel of Mercy,”

Once again June Caprice forges to the front in a picture of country life. Her newest film for William Fox “Little Miss Happiness,” overflows with the quaint humour and spirit of the fields. In this new photoplay, Miss Caprice takes the part of Lucy White. Harry Hilliard, co-star with the New England actress, plays Dave 'Allen, son of Lucy White’s neighbour Squire Allen Complications begin when Sadie Allen, daughter of a neighbour, and customer of Lucy’s, returns to ■the home village. Sadie has been trying to make a living in the city, where she has met and married Max Barker (Leo Kennedy). When Barker gets tired of her and leaves her, Sadie is forced to return home with her baby. To ward off her father’s anger, Sadie begs Lucy to take care of the baby until things can be explained to him. Lucy, who has always loved children, is glad of the opoprtunity. She boldly declares to the community that the child is her own. Finally Barker comes to the village on a visit to a friend. He meets Sadie there, finds that he still loves her, and begs her to return. Then she explains the whole affair to her father and the village; Lucy’s name is cleared, and Dave and Lucy go out to look at the stars.
