GERMANS' FAITH IN THEIR NAVY
Newspapers of of all shades are absolutely unanimous in their unshaken confidence in the navy, despite the indiscretions which led to the unveiling of the revolt in circumstances that are bound to lend an importance which it did not really possess.
The "Vorwarts" intimates that the trouble was confined to one of the smaller warships, and had its" origin with three young fellows whose heads had been turned by tales circulated about the participation of the young sailors in the Russian revolution.
However that may be, the "Vorwarts" says, if the story as told in the Reichstag should lead Germany's enemies to believe that conditions in the German Navy are anying like those in Russia, they 'might come and investigate for themselves.
The newspaper adds that nothing would so speedily destroy any impression of weakness caused by the story of the revolt as an attempt on the part of the British Navy to invade German waters.
