PORTUGUESE CRISIS
SERIOUS FIGHTING TAKES PLACE MADRID, Dec 9. , Fighting began night. Revolutionary forces entrenched on heights dominating Lisbon consisted of three infantry regiments one cavalry regiment, two batteries of artillery and officers of the military school, with twenty field guns. During the fighting seventy were killed and 500 wounded. Many gßbps were pillaged.
