The plains are bathed in sunshine but in the mountains the troops are lying in snow. The Italians have some protection, but the Germans only have holes fn the snow. HINDENBURG LEADS IN ITALY. HIS PLANS COMPLETELY UPSET. Received 8.35. WASHINGTON Nov 30. Official despatches 'from Rome state that Hindenburg is personally leading the Austro-Germans in Italy. He planned that Conrad's army should sweep the Cetti Commini Plateau; the armies of Krobation and von B'nlow were to traverse the Brenta Valley, cross the mountains and descend into the Venetian plains. Italian resistance has upset .both schemes. AUSTRO-GERMANS IN ITALY. PREPARING FOR ANOTHER ATTACK. Received 11.5. LONDON, November 30. Mr. Ward Price, reports that snow has ceased on the mountains, and Italian airmen have observed considerable Austro-German movements in preparing for attack. .
