THE GERMAN STORY. A German official message says; English Tanks and infantry attacking westward of Bourlon, collapsed. We temporarily lost Bourlon and Fontaine Notre Dame but recaptured the villages and threw the enemy back into Bourlon Wood, ATTACKS IN BELGIUM PRISONERS TAKEN AT CAMBRAI. Received 10.25. LONDON, November 29. Sir Douglas Haig reports that after i sharp fighting attacks against Belgian positions near Asehoop failed. We captured prisoners during night jpatrol /encounters fcouthtward of the Scarpe. THE HINDENBURG TUNNEL. I . ITS CAPTURE PRACTICALLY COMPLETE. PARIS, November 28. The capture of the Hindenburg Tunnel is now practically complete. In vestigations show that it was thirteen miles long, jwith a of forty feet. Mines were sown .-roughout the length, and they were arranged to explode by means of switches. Fortunately British electricians discovered the switches and cut the wire. Vast stores of food and tobacco have been already discovered. The dug-outs were luxuriously furnished. The wnole tunnel is electrically lighted and fitted with exits every yards.
