TARANAKI PETROLEUM .WORKS. BLOW OUT AND ABLAZE. LOSS COVERED BY INSURANCE. NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. A fire occurred aft the Taranaki Petroleum Company’s Works this morning resulting in the destruction of No. 2 derrick and a quantity of tools. While working a great blow out of gas occurred and became ignited at the boiler fire. Other adjourning buildings were saved. The damage is fully covered by insurance. AUCKLAND SUPREME COURT. A WOMAN MURDER CASE. Auckland, this day. The Jury disagreed on a charge against Hannah Matilda Dalton, of having caused the death of a married woman nailed Vena Baker, by hr. illegal operation.
