At Abushusheh, south-east of Ramleh, was seen another brilliant yoemanry charge. They galloped over a difficult ridge, facing violent macht ine-gun fire, sabred 400 Turks, captured a gun and 350 prisoners. The Anzacs prisonered 300 at Lydda and took 4 machine guns. The Australians took enormous quantities of stores and ammunition.
