LONDON, October 30. An official report states that no casualties or damage of any nTfitl resulted from last night’s air raid on England. AUSTRALIAN NEWS A SUSPECT COMMITTED. * GREAT DESTRUCTIVE FIRE. Received 9.55. SYDNEY, Oct 31. Harold Batten has been committed for trial. The police produced a number of extraordinary letters referring to sinking ships and falsifying discharges^ A fire destroyed; Barclay and Co’s box factory at Leichardt. The damage is estimated at £lo^ooo.
